    The introduction of the cylindrical interferometer has eliminated the need for costly test plate sets.

    In addition, through the use of our cylinder interferometer utilizing variable space grating technology, convex and concave surfaces are verified quickly and accurately with precision to 1/5 wave.  Verification both horizontally and vertically, short or long radius.  Judge for yourself from the photos below.  If your cylindrical optics do not look like the center fringe patterns, you need to call Cylinder Optics, Inc.

   

    We deal in materials such as BK-7, Pyrex, Fused Silica, Soft Flint and Quartz.  We can polish cylinders as small as 0.050” sq. and as large as 8.000” sq., we can also polish cylinders as long as 12.000”.  Our toroids range from 1.000” sq. to 8.000” sq.  Here is a list of our capabilities:
